4 Tile Patterns to Dress up your Floor
Once you have selected new tile for your home remodeling project, the next task is figuring out how you want the tile laid out. Just to get you started, here are four ideas featured on Houzz.com.
1. Checkerboard. Whether you prefer the classic black and white or two other colors that go with your interiors, you can have them set straight or on the diagonal.
2. Running bond. You may have heard this pattern called brick or offset pattern. The tiles are offset by half the width of the tile.
3. Basketweave. The woven effect on this floor is created with squares and rectangles.
4.Pinwheel. Also called Hopscotch, this pattern is made by a small square tile that is surrounded by four larger ones.
